The sectors
The programmes connect riders and activities in South America, Sicily and Italy, Romania, Ethiopia, Malta and Gozo, Mongolia and China, alongside experience in California and the Emirates.

In a Facebook memory dated 20 October 2019, Oreste recalls coaching Adam Cianciarulo at Milestone in California as he began riding the 125 cc class. The post places that training about seven years earlier.
Cianciarulo later became a Monster Energy Kawasaki factory rider, the 2019 Monster Energy Cup winner and the 2019 AMA Pro Motocross 250 cc champion. This illustrates Oreste’s coaching experience; it does not imply a partnership between VRT and Kawasaki.

Runner-up in the final 2024 Internazionali d’Italia Supermarecross 85 cc standings. Oreste Valenti supports him throughout the championship, from initial preparation to work during the season. That year he also wins the EMX85 qualifying round at Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye. In 2025 he moves to 125 cc, entering the Internazionali d’Italia Supermarecross and Internazionali d’Italia Motocross.

Events · Race organization
Since 1997: from scooter gymkhanas and minibikes to FMI regional racing, the Italian SX championship and international events with Italian and American specialists.
At Catania’s Cibali in 1999, Supercross brings riders and spectators together with guests including Loris Capirossi and Marcello Torrisi, Valenti’s rider and a regional road racing champion. Oreste also invites and introduces the young Antonio Cairoli, future nine-time world champion, then racing in 85 cc, as a talent to watch. In 2000 he invites Cairoli again to Acireale’s indoor arena: already the Italian 85 cc champion, he tackles double jumps alongside leading riders. Oreste’s recollections are now part of the VRT archive.

The track · Catania
Since 2017, VRT Sandcross Track has been the private sand track at Catania’s Plaia. It is part of the MX/SX School Academy activities alongside private MX tracks in Nicolosi and Misterbianco and an SX track.
“Not for joke, sorry about that!”
The story
From champion on the Sicilian sand to team manager in American Supercross: forty years of bikes, riders and passion.
Moto Club Leone is born in Mascalucia. The name? “Leo is my star sign,” says Oreste. This is where his first races start and, years later, the big events in Sicily.
Two Sicilian Cadetti titles: 125 cc and 250 cc. Oreste races two bikes of different capacities on the same day, also doing so at national sand races.
Around two and a half years after starting, following his two 1988 titles, he moves into national Junior racing. At Reggio Calabria he finishes second as number 25, in the race featuring Corrado Maddii #6 and Giorgio Cicogni #28, third.
Selected as a rider of international interest and among Southern Italy’s leading riders, he joins the FMI national squad in Maglia Azzurra. With Italy he wins the team Pokal Cross. Oreste recalls Ponte a Egola, Pisa, and competition with Czechoslovakia, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary and Poland.
In 1992, Oreste Valenti wins the Italian Supermarecross title in the 250 cc class and finishes runner-up in the 125 cc class.
In Rome, in November 1997, he earns the FMI Youth Technical Coach diploma on the first national course. He now holds two FMI qualifications: Level 3 Technical Coach and Youth Technical Coach. He is also an instructor for AICS, ASI and ACSI.
On Saturday 25 September 1999, as president and rider of Moto Club Leone, he organizes the national Supercross at the Cibali in Catania, final round of the national trophy: for the first time in Italy in a city football ground, with over 4,000 spectators and Loris Capirossi as special guest.
In November 2000, the year after the Cibali, Oreste Valenti and Moto Club Leone stage the first international Aircross: indoor supercross and freestyle at the Acireale sports arena.
Third in the final Internazionali d’Italia Supermarecross standings in both 125 cc and 250 cc on Suzuki Valenti bikes. Between 1999 and 2001 he achieves top-three and top-five finishes in Italian 125 cc Supercross. Multiple regional 125 cc and 250 cc titles in Junior and Expert categories.

In the AMA Supercross 450 cc class, the one that matters most, Justin Keeney on a Kawasaki KX450F is the best privateer rider and Italianteam, the only 100% Italian team, is the best privateer team. 15th in the Anaheim opener main event and, in St. Louis, a charge from last to 12th: the best season of his career.

Training for young, amateur and professional riders: MX/SX technique, sand and rider preparation with Oreste Valenti.
MX, SX and sand, in Italy and internationally. From youth classes to amateurs and professionals, with experience in AMA Supercross, MXGP and EMX contexts. Test riders work with technicians, mechanics, engineers and suspension specialists on setup and product feedback.
A rider development programme reserved for riders on BNK motorcycles. The proposed first cohort includes 6–8 riders, coached on track by Oreste Valenti and the VRT / Italianteam staff.
Racing with AMA Supercross and MXGP references, Amateur and Professional Programs, MX/SX School Academy, events and test riders / R&D. A full partnership draws on Oreste’s broad experience. R&D can also run as a standalone project.
